The Shoulder Relief Girth Aussie & Trail edition, designed to fit Australian saddles and trail saddles with 1.25″ wide billets

Specifically designed for the 1.25″ billets of Australian and trail saddles, the Shoulder Relief Girth AUSSIE & TRAIL actually changes the position and angle of the billets to prevent the saddle tree from interfering with the shoulder. (details here)

Based around the design of the massively successful Western Shoulder Relief Cinch, but with 1.25″ buckles and a removable over-girth strap
to be compatible with all styles of Aussie and trail saddles. It uses the same liners as our Shoulder Relief Cinch, which means you get to choose between liners,  limestone neoprene, wool felt and wool fleece all removable liners.

The Shoulder Relief Aussie Trail Girth is available with 3 liner materials (all of which are removable and interchangeable):

  • Limestone-based Neoprene
  • 100% Wool Fleece (Black or White)
  •  Wool Felt

Regardless of the liner, the cinch is equally as effective at keeping the saddle tree off the shoulder and giving extra elbow clearance.  The reasons to select each material type are as follows:

  • Neoprene - Great for damp or muddy environments, as it is very easy to keep clean and repels moisture.
  • Wool Fleece - Great for sensitive skin horses.  It also has the wonderful wool benefits of moisture wicking and heat dispersion.
  • Wool Felt - Great all around liner.  It has the moisture wicking and heat dispersion qualities of wool while being easier to keep clean than a fleece liner.

It also has the following features:

  • Stainless steel roller buckles.
  • Top grade saddlery leather body with stainless steel hardware.
  • Removable optional overgirth strap, included with purchase.
  • Velcro backing for adhering to the removable liner.
  • 3 liner (cover) choices:
    • Thick and soft 10mm limestone neoprene liner (all other neoprene girths on the market are a thinner 5mm).
    • Plush 100% wool fleece liner available in black or white
    • 12 mm thick real wool felt liner in grey
  • Available in 28 through 38 inch lengths.
